Jill von Jena is a beautiful, smaller sized 14-16 month old German Shepherd. Still getting used to life at the rescue, Jill is slowly but surely coming into her own. She is a lovely, gentle, mid-energy pup who prefers cuddling up with her humans after lots of activity, playing with kind and polite dogs like herself and spending time with her brother Jack. On walks, she uses those perky ears to listen to all you have to teach her, from how to trot politely and at the right pace to where to stop and go as you cross the street. She especially flourishes when she’s around other dogs and has a companion. She enjoys the company and becomes more confident in their presence, whether it’s on or off the leash. At the end of a good walk or run outside, she’ll come up to you and do her signature head tilt, where she leans against you, looks at you with those big puppy eyes and waits patiently for the head pets and back scratches to follow. Jill would love to find a forever home with her brother Jack, or with another playful pup.
